I am a solo-mompreneure, a former graphic designer with varied experience in editorial publications, print design, localization, education and social media marketing. My personal goals are to be my own boss, surround myself with creators and inspire others to do the same.

Being an entrepreneur is not really a matter of choice, at least not for me. It is a lifestyle that is not meant for everyone. Some take this road because they always wanted to and some achieve it after they didn't fit into the conventional hired employee mold.

I was always an aspiring entrepreneur who tried time and time again to fit into the employment mold because I wanted a secure income, to be eligible for all social benefits, and not have to chase any clients.
Well, guess what? You can have all that even as an entrepreneur. Securing your income depends on your business model, your benefits can be determined by you (in some countries), and your clients will come to you if you present them with a strong brand that has a clear message and strategy.

To me, branding is an acquired mindset. That is the difference between running a business and owning a brand. It's all in the fine details of your brand strategy.
